Bavyeyi, meaning "parents", is is grown in the rich volcanic soil of a remote mountain area in Ngozi province. This coffee was named by our supplier JNP's founder in honour of her own mother, a coffee farmer in the region.
JNP Coffee works closely with farmers in Ngozi, many of whom are Muslim women, a minority group in Burundi, to promote gender equality, financial literacy, education, and leadership skills.
Roasted in Kitchener, ON by Roux Bakehouse.
