Deyvid Leandro grew up on Esperança Farm, working the fields and patios and learning to cup alongside his grandfather José Maria, who acquired the farm in the 1990s. A chapter living in Canada shaped his understanding of specialty coffee from the consumer side, and when he returned to Brazil he channeled that perspective into elevating the family's work. He's since earned two Cup of Excellence wins.
